We are very fortunate to have a multi-use facility here at St Brigid's. An Arts Theatre complete with a stage, professional lighting and sound system. Throughout the year we have the pleasure of listening to concerts held by our Instrumental Students, Whole School Masses, Assemblies as well as end of year Christmas Concerts. Our student ICT team play an active roll in the running of the various productions.

It is also a Sports Stadium, complete with Basketball rings, Rock climbing wall and multiple court markings for various sports.

The 'SAMMAT' building is a vital part of St Brigid's School life. Its multiple uses provide a variety of possibilities to staff and students alike.

SAMMAT Hire

We take pride knowing that many members of the local community have enjoyed the use of our facility, please click here for more information on how to hire for your next event.

Grounds

We are fortunate in the space and quality of the grounds students have available to them.

There are two ovals, one for younger children and one for the older. There are two courtyards that students may access for socializing or just sitting in shade and lastly, there are two playgrounds, one for students from Reception to Year 3 and another for students from Years 4-7, with both being under shade.

Resource Centre

The Resource Centre almost exclusively houses a collection of big books. junior and upper primary fiction and non fiction books, readers and lexiles, staff reference, kits, games, AV and equipment for all subject areas and a parent library.

The Librarian supports and facilitates the best use of the Resource Centre. Classes visit for regular weekly borrowing, in a research block or as a major focus for a term. Our facilities cater for indiviual study and a creative space for groups. It is a bright and comfortable space for a great read.

Audio-visual viewing is booked through the Resource Centre as the school has a MATV system installed.

The Resource Centre is open before school and at lunchtime for students to borrow, play games or read quietly. We provide a conducive environment for students and carers to complete homework, after school.

Families are encouraged to come in, choose books and borrow with their children.

The Resource Centre encourages and welcomes the input and help from the community in developing an efficient resource which meets the needs of students and staff.
